Baby Faced Beauty

I have not written a review of a drama for quite sometime. This makes Baby faced beauty quite the extraordinaire to grace my page on this auspicious day. ^_^

I have enjoyed this drama and had fun following it from the first episode till the last one. It was funny, quirky and inspirational.

The pair of Daniel Choi played as Choi Jin Wook and Jang Nara as Lee So Young didn't exactly made me giggle but I can accept their pairing. They were so lovely together. The second lead man Ryu Jin and second leading lady Kim Min Seo were admirable at some scenes.

Short synopsis

This drama is about a young matured 34 year old lady who suffers downsizing by the company she worked for 14 years. Due to age constraint she is forced to lie about her age to get a part time job in a fashion company named In Style.

In the company she moves from being the model to a designer, all the while pretending to be a 25 year old. Her workmates disapprove of her and the team leader Kang Yoon Seo hates her for being the favourite of the president and the president's daughter. Her only confidant is the company MD Choi Jin Wook whom she previously met during an unfortunate event.

Here her struggle is to hide her true identity while achieving her dream of becoming a true fashion designer. It would prove to be a difficult attempt once her identity is uncovered by Kang Yoon Seo and when she falls in love with Choi Jin Wook.

The strength of the story

It lies in the script. I see a different side of Jang Nara and her very sorrowful character is complimented by Daniel Choi cheerful character.

My bad critic

I have to agree with some commentators that said Jang Nara hairstyle is outrageous and she is so scrawny and spineless.
